ScreenWise: Guiding Families Towards Healthier Digital Behaviours is a 12-month Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU) running from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026.
It focuses on supporting parents—especially those with fewer opportunities—to build healthier, more mindful digital habits for themselves and their children.

Issues are more common among parents from disadvantaged or rural backgrounds, single parents, lower education levels, or multicultural contexts.

To empower adult educators to help parents create healthier, balanced digital environments at home by strengthening:

Connected, non-toxic parenting practices
Stress management and positive communication
In short: ScreenWise trains educators so they can train parents.
What the Project Produces
ScreenWise develops a complete training package for educators, which includes:
1. A Competency-Based Curriculum – A structured framework describing what parents should learn about screen time balance, digital balance, healthy digital routines.
2. A full Training Programme – Includes practical non-formal activities, digital detox methods, and activities that improve family bonding.
3. Pre–Post Assessment Tools – To measure parents’ learning progress.
4. Pilot testing – The training is tested in community centres and refined based on real-world feedback.
5. Multilingual Versions – The final version is translated into German, Polish, Turkish, and Slovenian.
6. Mentoring Programme (pre-launch) – To support educators after the project cycle.
Partners
Falken Bildungs- und Freizeitwerk Hagen e.V. (Germany): FBF EN / Hagen e.V. is an independent association, part of the FBF NRW umbrella organisation. They work in North Rhine-Westphalia, promoting self-confidence, critical thinking, healthy families through various activities. The key areas include digital skills, inclusion, diversity, climate action, and civic participation.
International Youth, Sport, Environment and Development Association (Türkiye): With a membership of 80, the association collaborates with local bodies such as the Menteşe Municipality, and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Sports and Culture Department. The association focuses on four key areas: sustainable environmental practices, promoting inclusionthrough sports, enhancing digital competencies for governance, and raising awareness of democracy and citizenship rights, particularly among disadvantaged and disabled families, enhancing inclusion and diversity in all fields of education.
Fundacja Ornament (Poland): Established in 2020, is an NGO rooted in enhancing societal well-being, particularly among families. Their experienced team collaborates with key regional stakeholders, including schools and social centres, to tailor impactful solutions for communities. The activities span from support, emphasising social activism and volunteerism, to community activation through diverse cultural programs, underscoring their commitment to social inclusion and personal growth.
LIFE4YOU, podjetniško in poslovno svetovanje, Tjaša Ramšak s.p. (Slovenia): LIFE4YOU excels in digitalizing educational content, bringing innovative teaching methods to the forefront of training centres. With a seasoned team experienced in Erasmus+ projects and digital education, they specialise in creating engaging video content and e-learning platforms. They tailor content to meet the unique challenges of modern parenting, ensuring that our resources are engaging, user-friendly, and adaptable to diverse family situations. Special attention is given to the needs of minority and disadvantaged groups, ensuring accessibility for those facing cultural, linguistic, or socio-economic barriers. We empower families and educators to develop healthier, more supportive relationships by prioritising flexibility and inclusivity.
